Primary Assignments:
Adam is chief counsel to the WSU Board of Regents, the President, Provost, Vice Presidents, Chancellors, Executive Budget Director, Athletic Director, and other members of senior staff.  Adam oversees and directs all legal services for WSU and advises in numerous areas.
Bio:
Adam has been at the WSU Division of the Attorney General’s Office since March 2012. Prior to coming to the Attorney General’s Office, Adam was a deputy prosecuting attorney with Walla Walla County for five years where he was responsible for the juvenile and district courts criminal dockets. Adam was also an instructor at Walla Walla Community College where he taught a criminal law course.

Bio:
Nina joined the WSU Division of the Attorney General’s Office in September 2025, after transferring from the Social and Health Services Section of the Spokane Division, where she represented the Department of Children, Youth, and Families in child welfare cases. Prior to joining the Attorney General’s Office, Nina worked as a prosecutor for seven years, first in Kootenai County, Idaho, then in Lincoln County, Washington.

Bio:

Collin joined the WSU Division in March 2025. Prior to that, he was at the Spokane AGO where he represented the Department of Labor and Industries in administrative law cases.  From 2012 to 2021, he was with The Markam Group in Spokane where he assisted with all facets of pre-litigation, litigation, and appellate process in plaintiff personal injury and wrongful death cases arising primarily from medical negligence.

Bio:
Daniel joined the WSU Division of the Attorney General’s Office in September 2025. Prior to joining WSU, Daniel worked for the U.S. Department of Education for fifteen years in its Office of the General Counsel and Office for Civil Rights. Before that, Daniel served as an assistant attorney general for the District of Columbia where he provided legal support to the District of Columbia Public Schools.

Bio:
Shelby joined the WSU Division of the Attorney General’s Office in September 2022. After law school, Shelby worked as a deputy prosecutor in Nez Perce County, Idaho, for five years where she prosecuted misdemeanors from initial appearance to post-conviction and appeal, and represented the county at hundreds of evidentiary hearings, mediations, and trials.  Before joining the Attorney General’s Office, Shelby was an assistant city attorney for the City of Lewiston, Idaho, specializing in land use, public records, and code enforcement.

Bio:
Jessica joined the WSU Division of the Attorney General’s Office in September 2020. After law school, Jessica participated in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Emerging Leaders program with a posting in the Indian Health Service Office of Tribal Self-Governance; on completion of the program, Jessica transitioned to a permanent position as a policy analyst in the Office of Tribal Self-Governance in Rockville, MD. In 2015, Jessica relocated to Eastern Washington, joining the WSU Office of Research as a contracts manager, with responsibility for complex research funding agreements and non-monetary research agreements, and later as an assistant director of the Office of Research Support and Operations.
